Mr. Mori leads workshops in shiatsu and macrobiotic nutrition. He is a Shiatsu Master from Japan who has completed extensive studies in macrobiotic nutrition and has been in practice since 1974.

Shiatsu Workshop
Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese form of bodywork that uses gentle finger pressure applied to specific areas of the body through a channel system to improve energy, or “chi" flow and restore the body, mind and spirit to a natural state of balance. It stimulates the healing of injuries and improves systems of poor health such as chronic pain, stress, insomnia and other conditions not effectively treated by Western medical practices. Students will gain an understanding of “chi", the principles of yin and yang, assessment and palpating skills and will learn a comprehensive protocol to address the feet, legs, arms, shoulders, neck and back.

Chi Soup Macrobiotic Workshop
Macrobiotic Nutrition is founded upon the goal of bringing balance to the body and mind through eating a well-balanced, local, organic and plant-based diet. Preparing and eating healthy food can be overwhelming, especially given the time constraints most of us face today, but it doesn't have to be. In Mr. Mori’s Chi Soup workshop, you will learn the most essential principles and components of a macrobiotic diet via an ingeniously simple solution to everyday nutrition. Chi Soup is an incredibly healthy, one-pot meal recipe that Mr. Mori has developed for maintaining optimal health using Macrobiotic Nutrition principles as its foundation.
